PlanetSAT #2020 : Updated data and imagery

We have selected best available Sentinel-2 imagery data in order to update PlanetSAT Global imagery basemap.

The latest Sentinel-2 imagery data ingested in the mosaic is from 2018-2019 time frame and covers 30% of all emerged land. There is a particular focus on updating all capital cities, large urban areas across the world and large regions including Northern Africa and the Middle East.

The global mosaic version 2020 is color-corrected, cloudless, optimized and ready-to-use in different professional formats. Consequently, PlanetSAT Global basemap brings great value to all our users across various industries.
