PlanetObserver Announces Partnership with Airbus Defence and Space to Distribute their Portfolio of Very High Resolution Geospatial Data in Europe

CLERMONT-FERRAND, France – March 26, 2019 – PlanetObserver, provider of value-added geospatial data for civil and military solutions, today announced a new partnership with Airbus Defence and Space, a global leader in aeronautics, space and related services. PlanetObserver now distributes Airbus portfolio of Very High Resolution imagery and elevation products and services in Europe.

In addition to its own range of global medium resolution imagery and elevation products, PlanetObserver offers Airbus Very High Resolution geospatial data. Airbus portfolio includes Pléiades 50cm and SPOT 6/7 1.5m imagery. It also covers WorldDEM elevation data and the whole Elevation data range. Moreover, PlanetObserver  provides the new OneAtlas Data services for smarter decision making.

It is important to stress out that the Earth Observation market is aspiring for increasingly more high and very high resolution data.  This trend is strongly driven by defence and intelligence applications followed by civil markets, including urban planning, agriculture, energy and natural resources.
